Defending champions Zambia will take on Zambezi rivals Zimbabwe in the semifinals of the 2025 COSAFA U17 Girls’ Championship 2025 on Friday.
The Copper Princesses stormed into the semifinals as Group B winners, having scored an impressive 13 goals without conceding across their group matches, including a 4-0 win over Mozambique and an impressive 9-0 victory against Mauritius.
Zimbabwe, who finished top of Group C, secured their semifinal berth on Wednesday to set up a fierce regional contest with Zambia in the last four.
The semifinal match will be played on Friday, 16 May 2025 at 12h00 at Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek, Namibia.
It will be followed by the second semifinal between Malawi (Group A winners) and Mozambique (best runner-up) at 15h00, also at Hage Geingob Stadium.
